Condition Code Explanations

Many of our products are brand new, direct from a supplier. But many are items that have been returned to major retailers. We purchase these items, inspect and recertify them for resale, but we want you to know exactly what you are getting. So, we vigorously inspect and sort the products by category. We add a condition code to these products, and a letter to the end of the UPC code, so we can make sure that you are sent exactly what you have ordered. Here is a breakdown of those condition codes.

Please note that UPC codes with no letter at the end are Condition A / NEW.

"A" Condition

Condition A means that the product is in a box that has never been opened. Some brands and types of products have tamper seals on the boxes and these seals are intact.

These products should be brand new, and never used. Please let us know if there is anything wrong with your A Condition product, so we can make it right.

"B" Condition

Condition B means that the product is "Like New". The box might have been opened, and/or the exterior box might have some minor damage. Rest assured, we have opened the box, inspected the contents and ensured that everything is there and in working order.

"Giftable" products like watches and jewellery are treated as if the box was part of the gift. For these products the box will be in great shape to be classified as B Condition.

Brand New boots and shoes that have never been worn might be marked as B if the box is damaged, or if there is no box, but the shoes have never been worn.

Please let us know if there is anything wrong with your B Condition product, so we can make it right.

"C" Condition

Condition C means that the product is functional, or usable, but has been degraded slightly for one reason or another. These might be gently used, have been scratched or damaged in packaging or be missing some insignificant pieces or attachments. They have been certified to still be functioning.

There should be "Condition Notes" explaining any deficiencies. If you see something labeled as grade C but dont see the "Condition Notes" section, please feel free to send us an email and ask about the condition.
Please Read the Condition Notes.

Collectables, like high-end Lego sets, are labeled C if the set is complete, but the box is damaged.

Sometimes "C" products are labeled as "Final Sale". Please note this before making a buying decision.

"D" Condition

Condition D means that the product should be purchased for Salvage or Parts. There are a number of useful items in this condition, such as video game remotes that have some buttons not working; these are often purchased to repair another unit with differnt buttons not working. Please note that that condition D items may not work at all or on their own.

There should be "Condition Notes" explaining different deficiencies. If there are multiple items with the same part number as Condition D, there will be a list of items and what is wrong with them. When you purchase, please indicate which disfunctional item you would like (For example, "I need a controller with a good right joystick")
Please Read the Condition Notes.

"D" Products are always labeled as "Final Sale". Please note this before making a buying decision.
